Reverse: Depicts the Pre-partition Map of United India as the central motif. Superimposed or adjacent to the map is the figure of Capt. Lakshmi Sahgal, the legendary commander of the Rani of Jhansi Regiment. Inscribed around the design is the iconic anthem title: "Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja" (Keep stepping forward).
